| Being
the President of the most important Association of
Vinicultural Enterprises in Catalonia, it is very
pleasant for me to open the pages of this web in
Internet. Since 1977, the year UVIPE was created as a succession to former "Sindicato de Criadores Exportadores de Vinos" established in 1906, our Association has been following a continuous evolutionary process in forms as well as in systems. This should be concretely the case of the Community project "ADAPT-VIDEOVI" a program of adaptation that has positioned us as a pioneer among the Spanish associations of wines, through application of new computing technologies in its information circuits, by training our staff in that matter, dynamizing at the same time around Internet the first sectorial data base and offering the first shopping of wines, cavas, brandies and liquors.
